How to get there

By Car
From the North: Exit the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 toward Keswick. Before Keswick turn onto the A591 toward Windermere. The Travellers Rest Inn is located 12 miles South of Keswick on the A591.
From the South: Exit the M6 at junction 36 and take the A590 toward Windermere and the A591. Continue to the North and The Travellers Rest Inn located 8 miles to the North of Windermere on the A591.
By Rail
From the North: Take the train to Carlisle and transfer to the Number 555 bus for Lancaster from outside the station, asking the driver to stop at The Travellers Rest Inn at Grasmere.
From the South: Take the train to Windermere and transfer to the Number 555 bus for Carlisle from outside the station, asking the driver to stop at The Travellers Rest Inn at Grasmere.
