How to get there

Port Elliot is 75 km from the capital city of South Australia, Adelaide.

This takes about 1.5 hours by car from the airport, a little less from the cbd. Direct access is via the Main South Road expressway via Willunga and McLaren Vale.

Other scenic routes are through the Adelaide Hills through the charming towns of Hahndorf, Mount Barker and Strathalbyn or via the scenic valley road through Stirling, Aldgate, Mylor, Echunga. Meadows, Ashbourne, Currency Creek and Middleton.

There is a bus service from the Adelaide Franklin Street Bus Depot that will take guests to Port Elliot.

Scenic train trips on the Steamranger are available on selected days from Mount Barker to Port Elliot.

If going on to visit Kangaroo Island, the Cape Jervis ferry service is about 1 hour by car.
