How to get there
Travel by road can be via the A9 or by the scenic route via Perth/Blairgowrie/Spittal of Glenshee/Braemar, then take the B976 past Gairnshiel Lodge onto the A939 at the junction turn left for Corgarff and Cockbridge and continue on the A939 to Tomintoul.
The nearest airport to Tomintoul is at Inverness and Aberdeen airport is only 1 1/2 hours drive away. Aviemore Station is the nearest train station. Car hire is available at all three places.
Getting around
Tomintoul is the highest village in the highlands and sometimes in winter months the roads can be affected by snow. Listening to road reports is recommended for a safe journey and arrival.
