Situated on a quiet lane just a few minutes walk from the heart of the village, we have an elevated position with Cracken Edge on our doorstep offering excellent walks and views across the area. A little further up the lane you will find Chinley Park Hay Meadows, the grassland areas of the meadow are home to more than 42 varieties of wildflowers and grasses. Chinley park has been awarded Local Nature Reserve status because 22 of these plant species are special. In the evening why not relax and have a stroll down into the village and visit The Old Hall at Whitehough this 16th Century Inn with its Minstrel gallery is a great country pub with an award winning selection of local ales and fabulous food.
