How to get there
Take Motorway from airport towards Port Louis. After Rose Belle (hospital signed) take Souillac A9 turn and follow to this town. Pass bus station on sharp right turn, cross bridge with traffic light control and go up hill. Turn at next left near shops signed Riambel. Follow coastal road for 2.5 km and slow down after Ecurie de Riambel (riding stables) sign. Pass Villa Philibert and l’Oasis on your left.
Opposite house on right with green roof look for track on left signed Villa Karel. Wall on right, cross gate and turn right and left to beach.
It is a 45-50 minute journey by car from the airport.

Getting around
Easiest to hire car and self drive to villa but local Bus service is cheap and extensive. Frequent buses to major centres from Surinam main road about 10 minutes walk inland from coastal road. Taxis easily booked and reliable. Speak with concierge. Supermarket is 10 minutes drive in Chemin Grenier but local shops, street food and markets nearer.
