-from Destin: Drive east on US 98 approx. 20 miles to US 395. Turn right on US 395 south until it ends at HWY 30A. Turn left (east) on 30A approximately 4 miles to WaterSound Beach. There are several entrances to WaterSound Beach. Drive to the big building called WaterSound Beach Gatehouse which is on the south side of the road. Go west on US 98 over Powell Lake until you arrive at the HWY 30A intersection. Turn left and drive west for approx. 4 miles, drive through Rosemary Beach & Alys Beach, to the third WaterSound Beach entry, the big building called WaterSound Beach Gatehouse which is on the south side of the road. Drive up to the gatehouse and put in the code 0614.

-from FL Highway 331:

Turn left on Highway 98. Go East 3 miles to Highway 395. Turn right on US 395 south until it ends at HWY 30A. Turn left (east) on 30A approximately 4 miles to WaterSound Beach. Drive to the big building called WaterSound Beach Gatehouse which is on the south side of the road. Drive up to the gatehouse and put in the code 0614.

After you drive through the gatehouse, drive straight approx. 1⁄4 mile until you hit a T in the road at the main community pool. Turn left & go east about 100 yards. You will see two 4-story condo buildings. The first rectangular building is Compass Point I. Our building is the second building, Compass Point II, which has an “L” shape.

Breathtaking is located on the third floor, #316. You can either take the elevator at the center of Compass Point II, or the stairway to the far right or the far left. The center stairway only goes to the second floor, so do not take the middle stairway.

You can park in any unmarked space that is not immediately in front of a garage door.
