How to get there
Two airports, Juan Santamaria, located in Alajuela, and Dan Oduber Quiros, located in Liberia, are the most popular airports. It is much quicker and easier getting to Marita's Bed and Breakfast from the Liberia airport than the Alajuela airport. Marita's Bed and Breakfast is located on route 142, near the entry of Nuevo Arenal proper.

Getting around
An automobile is not needed to shop in Nuevo Arenal. From Marita's Bed and Breakfast, Guest can walk to all Nuevo Arenal facilities, see location map, photo 4. Marita’s B&B is also a 10-minute walk to beautiful Lake Arenal Park. Fishing, swimming, kayaking and sun-bathing takes place here. However, public transportation or an automobile is needed to visit areas outside of Nuevo Arenal.
