How to get there
It is highly recommended to take a taxi from the airport to the ferry in Cirkewwa (Malta) there is then a 20 minutes ferry ride to Mgarr ( Gozo) another taxi driver can greet you from the ferry and take you to the farmhouse which would take about 15minutes.
Total travelling time 2 to 3 hours max depending on traffic as you are crossing from one side of the island to the other.

Getting around
Gozo is smaller then malta, however to see the best of it a car would be recommended even if it's just for a day or two. You can immerse in scenic views and go for hikes or snorkelling. The capital of Gozo is Victoria, and all major shops and supermarkets such as Arkadia and Lidl can only be found in Victoria. Gozo is much quieter and has a lazy vibe, unlike it's sister island Malta. It's perfect for people looking for peace and quiet and that old village charm.
