How to get there
If you are coming from abroad, the closest airport is the Athens international airport, Eleftherios Venizelos. Boats to Sifnos leave from the main port of Piraeus and it is best if you have purchased your tickets beforehand as boats can be pretty full in the summer. You can get from the airport to Piraeus, either by train, bus or taxi.

Getting around
Best way to get around is by car. Sifnos has many beautiful spots that are not serviced by public transport and it would be a shame to miss out on those.There are a few car rental companies on the island, we can help you organize that, should you go for that option. Alternatively, there is a very efficient and prompt bus service as well as a network of taxis.
