- Gills Bay on the Caithness coast to St Margaret's Hope, on South Ronaldsay (which is connected to the Orkney mainland by causeway) - crossing time about an hour 3 times per day summer and winter,
- Aberdeen to Kirkwall - 6 hours crossing time arriving 11.00 pm four times per week in Summer.
Findlays Cottage is just a short drive from any of the Orkney ferry ports.
