How to get there
From Pescara: Take the A14 heading south towards Bari. Leave at exit Valdi Sangro on to the SS652 heading west to towards the mountains. After approximately 21 take the SP129 towards Roccascalegna. On arriving in village follow signs for castle. Park (free) in Piazza Umberto1.
From Rome: Take the E80 then the A14 at Pescara. then follow (as above)
From Bari: Take the A14 heading north till you reach the Valdi Sangro exit. (Then follow directions as above)
