Getting Here
Exclusive but not elusive. One of the many charms of Dominican Republic villas is that while several major carriers offer the convenience of direct service here, it’s not over-served by endless flights packed with frenzied weekend tourists.
The Island is served by many airlines and has several international airports within easy reach of The Golden Dolphin Estate. Airlines include American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Spirit Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Air Europa. Airports and drive times to consider are, Samana AZS (45 minutes), Puerto Plata POP (90 minutes) Santo Domingo SDQ (2 hours) and Santiago STI (2 hours) Punta Cana and La Romana are too far from the north coast.

Getting around
By far, the easiest way to get around Cabrera, and other parts of the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is by renting a vehicle. There are numerous car rental companies within a short distance from The Golden Dolphin Estate and arrangements can easily be made to arrange pickup. Other methods of transportation in the area include taxi motor conchos (motor cycles), Guaguas (the local method of transportation), and small buses.
