How to get there
There are lots of ways to get to the Isle of Wight. There are car ferries, passenger ferries and the last remaining hover craft service in the world. If you are coming by car, we offer all our guests access to our trade account with Wightlink (Portsmouth to Fishbourne; Lymington to Yarmouth). The catamaran from Portsmouth to Ryde meets the Waterloo train. The hovercraft runs from Southsea, Portsmouth to Ryde. Alternatively you might like to use Red Funnel which operates both a passenger and car ferry from Southampton to Cowes. If you are not travelling by car, you will need to use the regular bus service from Ryde to Seaview or get a taxi. Ryde is about 3 miles from Seaview so you could always walk or cycle along the sea front.

Getting around
If you want to explore the Island, there is a fantastic bus service. However you might feel more energetic and want to cycle or walk, there are plenty of wonderful routes to follow. Maps are available in the apartment. Alternatively the car is a very popular means of transport!
