How to get there
If you are driving from the M6 and M54 take a turn left at Knockin and take the straight route to Blaenau ffestiniog, prepare yourself for a scenic experience, the roads are good but can be scary. After Bala a turning right takes you across to Clan Ffestiniog again breathtaking, then just a few miles to the cottage. I will supply detailed directions to get to the house after confirmed booking.

Getting around
Obviously there is the ffestiniog railway, the station is 5 minutes walk from the cottage, the train takes you to Porthmadog, with a stop at Port Merion, you can change trains and catch the Welsh Highland Railway that goes to Bethgellert and Caernarfon. There is also a main line train that runs from Llandudno to Blaenau ffestiniog. There is also a bus that runs from the town to Porthmadog and Betswycoed. It is possible to visit without a car.
