From the A69 take the exit signposted Brampton and fishing lake. The road doubles back on itself, follow it round, just after a right turning towards Lanercost is an access road/layby. Pull into this and near the far end of the layby you will see the start of the driveway flanked by stone pillars and a sign for Four Gables Estates Holiday Cottages. Head down the drive and where the drive forks take the left hand side. There is a small car park at the end. Cat’s Cradle is immediately in front of you as you enter the parking area.
