Getting around
Surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, if you're into cycling or horse-riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally-famous mountain-biking centre at Coed y Brenin is just 40 minutes away. This is a walker’s paradise with the Wales Coast Path passing along the sea front. For those seeking even more challenges, Cader Idris is just a 15 minute drive and Snowdon can be reached in just over an hour. If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the ‘must do’ famous Talyllyn Railway, narrow-gauge steam railway right here in Tywyn? Also, Aberdovey Golf Club & harbour is only a 10 min drive.
