Because you will be in the middle of the countryside surrounded by forests, fields, lake and river, the best way to get around would be on foot so a sturdy pair of boots and perhaps sticks for Nordic walking would enhance your walking experience. There is a free taxi going to Ockelbo twice per week (free return journey) on Wednesdays and Fridays which you can take or you can drive to Ockelbo in your own car. In Ockelbo, there are public buses and a train station which you can use to visit other parts of the area. We will be happy to provide you with all relevant information.
