How to get there
FROM THE AIRPORT
There is a train at the airport that is departing every hour to Kiato.From there 4 times a day there is a bus to Diakopto village Total duration of the trip is 3 hours Total cost 19 euros Pls ask for the timetable .
BY CAR FROM ATHENS
If you are coming by car ,you follow Attiki Odos and then take exit to Korinthos From there you take the New highway to PATRAS .No traffic lights only tolls .After 2,5 hours you will see exit Kalavrita Diakopto .You make right ,you pass the tolls and you enter at old national road .Make left and follow the sign to Diakopto Pass the Village Diakopto and the next Village is Zahloritika (ΖΑΧΛΩΡΙΤΙΚΑ ) Make right and after 200 meters stop at the church in order to pick you up .

Getting around
Make a reservation in advance for a ride with Odontotos Rack train 19 euros round trip.The train goes through the magnificent Vouraikos Gorge. Visit Plataniotisa Church inside the cave of 3 Platanos trees , .It is a must ..to eat at the River taverna .Maria is the best cook ever . Visit Tsivlos Lake and Zarouhla Village.A magnificent lake that you can walk around and swim Area Synest Theme Park at Synevro Village is also a magnificent escape for families. A lot of beautiful beaches are in sort distance Nikoleika,Engali,Eleon,Pounta,Coral Beach ,Platanos,Akrata,Aegira etc Visit the caves with lakes w/ stalactites and stalagmites and eat fresh trout smoked,fried or baked at Planitero (forest with Platanos trees)
