How to get there
If flying into Paris when you arrive you can take the metro to Montparnasse and then take a train (the TGV) to Saumur, via Tours (St Pierre de corps). From the UK, Stansted airport to Tours airport (Ryanair). You can hire a car or take a tram (500 mtrs) to Tours centrale and then onto Saumur.
Getting around
Public transport here is very limited. It would be best to hire a car or perhaps cycle! From Saumur you can take a train to Tours, a beautiful city or Angers which is also lovely.
