How to get there
Situated only about 90 minutes from Portland International Airport, getting to the Yurt at Rivendell for a true wilderness experience takes our guests through the bucolic village of White Salmon with its locally famous brewpub and restaurants. Once your reservation is confirmed we'll provide step-by-step directions for the gorgeous drive through the Columbia River Gorge and through the high-mountain farms enroute to the Yurt.
You will need an automobile in order to get to the Yurt.

Getting around
An automobile is essential for reaching the yurt. While there is a lot of hiking and sight-seeing possible on our property if you wish to experience other area adventures (e.g. white water rafting) an automobile is necessary.
