How to get there
Playa Blanca is 33km from the airport in Lanzarote and there is a public bus which runs every hour and the bus station is just across the road from the complex. Buses are known locally as guaguas! There are several companies that run shuttle services or private transfers from the airport and we can offer recommendations and of course you could hire a car. We recommend AutoReisen, Omicars or Cabrera Medina for a hassle free hire and would suggest you avoid Goldcar (additional charges) Dollar and Orlando as their pickups are off-site.

Getting around
Although it's not essential we would recommend hiring a car to see the island to the fullest but Playa Blanca has plenty to offer! Directly across the road is also the towns largest and well-stocked supermarket which sits on the edge of the town. The town centre is literally a 5-minute walk and the town beach is a couple of minutes more. There are 2 other beaches within easy walking distance of the complex - Playa Dorada to the left of the town and Playa Flamingo to the right past the ferry port. There are several tour companies offering trips around the island if you don't want to hire a car and you can also get the ferry to Fuerteventura from the port which is a 10 min walk.
