Here at The Castle House, we're perfectly placed to explore all the this gorgeous corner of Yorkshire has to offer, either on foot, by car or via public transport. The train station in the Town Centre is also the starting point for the North York Moor Railway, a heritage route with very regular steam trains which run from Whitby to Pickering via Goathland (or should I say Hogsmead or Hadensfield!). We're also very well placed for walking the Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track - which follows the route of the old railway line from Whitby to Scarborough via Robin Hoods Bay. Cyclists are well catered for too, with brilliant cycle tracks throughout the North York Moors National Park (which we're very close to!)
