GCIR is just inland from Burleigh Beach in the southern Gold Coast hinterland, about halfway between Brisbane and Byron Bay, about 20 minutes from the Gold Coast airport. You will need a car to get here. We can arrange airport pickup on request.

If you are driving, here's a few old-fashioned instructions on how to find us:

Take exit 89 of the Pacific Motorway (M1) and turn west towards the mountains up Tallebudgera Creek Road. Pass through the cafe township of Burleigh West, then at the Currumbin Valley link road traffic lights, go straight ahead to Tallebudgera Valley. Pass the Heritage Hideaway Cafe, then after a couple of kilometres, turn left into Syndicate Road (notice the fresh water swimming hole and park on your left). About 2.2 km down the road, turn left into Des Quinlan Crescent. Ours in the first driveway on the right.
