How to get there
The Oasis is approximately 140 km from Muscat International Airport. Take route 15 from Muscat then route 23 from Bidbid (follow the signs to Sur) and then route 27 in the direction of Al Mudhaybi/Mudhaibi

Getting around
You will need a vehicle to reach the Oasis and we recommend hiring a car on arrival for travelling around. Please note that the approach to the Oasis is unpaved. It is navigable with care by most saloon cars but a 4WD is preferable and will give you maximum flexibility for off-road and desert driving during your trip to Oman. It is preferable to aim to get here for the first time before sunset between 17.15 and 17.45 depending on the time of year.
