Rhodes, Diagoras Airport is the island's airport and is about 57kms away, roughly an hour's drive. It is possible to hire a taxi at the airport to get to Gennadi and this costs around 80-90 euros. Buses are also available. But we would recommend hiring a car to allow flexibility in getting around to see the local attractions. Gennadi village is about one minute by car, or about 10-15 minutes on foot. Beautiful Lindos with its Acropolis and medieval castle is about 20km and Rhodes old town world heritage site is about 65km. Nearby there are the traditional villages of Vati, Lahania, Lardos and Pefkos.

The villa provides a very big parking area (enough for 6-8 cars) immediately as you enter the property from the back yard which is free of charge. However, a car rental is recommended if you wish to explore the island.
