Construction on our cabin was completed in the fall of 2017. The exterior of the cabin provides ample sitting space and great views, with a covered front porch and covered back deck, each expanding the full length of the cabin. The interior is rustic in design with wood flooring and repurposed materials, but also features a fully accommodated kitchen, washer/dryer, and heating and air conditioning.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and attached bathroom. The master bath contains a jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and walk-in shower. The guest room houses a queen bed and closet. The bunk room was designed with a little help from our four sons! With three full beds, topped by four (yes, four) twin beds, it is sure to be a favorite spot for the young-at-heart!

Cabin is located approximately 6 miles east of Marceline, Missouri, on State Highway WW. It overlooks the newly restored Brush Creek wetland. Visitors have access to over 600+ acres of native timber and grasslands and are welcome to hike the trails, rockhop Brush Creek, or simply enjoy a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Hunters can also take advantage of public hunting access on the Mussel Fork Conservation Area less than a mile west of the cabin site. Disney fans will want to be sure to tour the Walt Disney Hometown Museum in Marceline.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
