The house is located in the beautiful and serene Estate area of Marco Island, and is situated at a canal with a free, open and direct access to the Mexican Gulf. However, as the canal now and then is home for a contingent of manatees the waterway to open water usually is a low speed no wake zone. For boaters there are dock and davits on the property.
Adjacent to the Estate area are the islands mega sized Publix grocery shop, liquor store, gas station, post office, service shops, walk in medical clinic, bank and some restaurants plus fast food outlets; all situated at the 'Shops of Marco' and less than five minutes by car from the house.
Distance to the Residents Beach, the gem in the crown of Marco Island, is 5-8 minutes by car from the house. Parking is free but membership is mandatory. Membership cost is approx. USD 120 for twelve months. Other beaches are the public South Beach also 5-8 minutes and Tigertail Beach approx. 10-12 minutes away from the house. A daily parking fee has to be paid at both. Further, there are a few walk in accesses to the beach along South Collier Boulevard but no public parking space are serving them.
