Khumbula iAfrica: enjoy the comfort of this cosy, well equipped, free-standing unit in a quiet environment of the African nature.

Marloth Park Holiday Village is located on the southern edge of the Krüger Park, separated by the Crocodile River. There's no fences; the wild animals move between houses freely and unhindered. The Park is one of the animals between 18: 00 and 06:00. Residents and visitors are encouraged to move, if this should be necessary only in vehicles.

Nowhere else you can hike from Impala, kudu, giraffe, Zebra, etc. evening on his porch sitting, with a glass of South African wine. Watch. It's the comforts of home combined with the African landscape, which back iAfrica leads guests to Khumbula... again and again.

We offer two houses, which offer both for up to 8 people. Both houses are lovingly decorated in an African style.

On the ground floor you will find a cosy kitchen with its thatched roof, as well as a granite table with bar stools. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need (Toaster, Grill, fridge, oven, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine etc.). In addition, there is a seating area with a sofa in an African style.

The master bedroom downstairs has a double bed, a large wardrobe, dressing table and air conditioning. The bedroom has a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A second bedroom on the ground floor is also equipped with a double bed, a spacious wardrobe and air conditioning. The separate bathroom is accessible to the public and has a shower, sink and toilet.

2 single beds with closet are on the upper floor of Khumbula 1 - open gallery - and a cosy TV lounge with double sofa bed is located on the other side. On the upper floor, there are several fans that provide cooling off on hot days.

On the upper floor of Khumbula 2 is a third bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe and air conditioning. The bedroom has a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The open gallery features a cosy TV lounge with double sofa bed. Here, too, there are fans that provide cooling off on hot days.

On the spacious terrace on the ground floor, you have a seat made of wood. The pool (sitz bath or swimming pool) is operating all year long and gives you the opportunity on hot days to cool down something. In the garden there is a barbecue overlooking the parkland next to Khumbula iAfrica. With a glass of good African wine that you enjoy visiting the zebras, giraffes and / or other animals. In the evening, you can enjoy African sounds and the romantic atmosphere of our BOMA.

    Everything was perfect. We were greeted by a friendly houstess every day. Had a lot of game arrive at our house daily. Overall it was an amazing experience, I would recomend it to anyone.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Els (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
