Description

Riad Blue Berber offers 6 rooms (1 room occupied by the housekeepers "Khadija and Sanna" who look after guest’s during their stay and 5 private suites to rent out). All the rooms feature a good size shower area, soap, shampoo, complimentary toiletries, confortable bed matters and sofa. Wardrobe and dressing table. 3 suites have Air condtion, two with fans and portable heates.

The space:

Lovely restored Riad (home) from 17th century, in the old part of Marrakesh (City Centre) Still with its original Arab style and architecture like the walls that 60-70 cm thick, great stuff for insulation. A large black & white handmade tiled courtyard and turquoise blue fountain. Some of the tiles may looks with stain mark on them or the color start to fade way (It’s their age, history why we keeping them) under a canopy of a family of four Orange, Grapefruit, Citron, and Pomegranate trees nestled in the middle with chirping birds sound. Moroccan style saloon on the first floor, great space to read a book, wind down with a cold beer, glass of fine Moroccan traditional red wine or just refresh up with a glass of mint-tea. Finely, the roof terrace where to enjoy plenty of sunshine during day time, breezier at night and its magnificent spot for the starry night watch with views of the ancient roof topped Marrakesh.

We understand to respect the Moroccan law when it comes to restoring ancient building and by doing ours we kept the original vision of Moroccan architecture in keeping with Marrakesh medina’s rich history. To design the riad we chose materials and furnishers that we love for ourselves too

Guest access:

Guests will have access to share every space in the accommodation, but not the kitchen due to safety and luck of different cocking material supply.

Living room:

Is a large Moroccan courtyard with turquoise Blue fountain, trees nestled in the middle with chirping birds? Saloon on the first floor, great space to read a book, wind down with cold beer, glass of fine Moroccan traditional red wine or just refresh up with a glass of mint-tea. Finally, the sunny roof terrace, surrounded by various typical Moroccan plants, where to enjoy a plenty of sunshine during day time, breezier at night and its magnificent spot for the starry night watch with views of the ancient roof topped Marrakesh.

Wi-Fi:

Tea, coffee are on the house and Wi-Fi connection access is available throughout the riad .

Tip:

Moustapha, who look after the riad, is an invaluable resource especially for first time visiting Marrakech. He’s the person with contacts to may good drivers and guides if you are interested in discovering the ancient Medina, cultural and historical aspects of Marrakesh for half-day tour at cost of 45 Euros. He can also organize amazing excursions if you are looking to go on day(s) trip to discover both tribes ‘Berber’s and Saharawi’s’ for group or individual. He can book taxis for you wherever you’re and whenever needed. Noustapha can be found in his office/shop next to the riad and available any time to help assist with any questions you may have o make sure you are enjoying your stay.

Visitors:

We accept guide dog, other companion animals as happy to supply you with a sleeping basket if needed and water bowl for a small fee at 5 Euros a night.

Locals are NOT permuting entry the riad just to visit.

Smoking:

We committed to make this building environment a healthier place. So, smoking areas are designated.

Other things to note

The rate details are for the room, breakfast and excluded € 2.50 (city tax) per person per night to be paid direct to the riad on arrival if preferred.

On site: We serve Beef, Lamb, chicken, Fish, Couscous and Vegetables ajine includes several of Moroccan salads. So, if you really looking to indulged into the Moroccan cuisine, there’s a cooking class on site.

Dinner: We truly recommend you try the ‘riad’s’ dinner, for the first night at least and get to know the staff. Moustapha especially, hi’s an invaluable resource for first time visiting Marrakesh and before start exploring the overwhelming city.

Getting around

Taxis and other public transports all do come right near by the riad. A 24/7 secure car park is at 400 miters down the road from the riad on Avenue Hommane Al Fatouaki (Arrest lamash).

Interaction with guest

Upon arrival, guests will be offered a Moroccan welcome complementary. A housekeepers (Khadija and Sanna) who speak Arabic, French and English have a room on the ground floor. They cook, serve and available at anytime during your stay to help make sure you are enjoying your stay. A cleaner lady comes in to clean around the house and, if you would like she can do your room too, change your bed sheets at no extra charge.
