Trulli Lachelie is a beautifully restored Trulli with a private (not shared), heated pool nestled in the countryside, but very close to the town of Martina France. It is in a great location where you get the best of both worlds. It is far enough from the madding crowd but at the same time, it is conveniently located in close proximity to town, beach (30 minute drive) and key tourist attractions.
We have furnished the Trulli to a nice standard with modern décor and facilities, yet keeping the traditional feel of a countryside Trulli. The Trulli has a single bedroom and is this suited to couples.
There is a comfortable open plan Living room with dining, and the kitchen has all the modern amenities, including WiFi, needed to make your stay comfortable.
The doors from the living area open out onto a shaded terrace with dining and Barbeque with access to the swimming pool.
It's a quiet and calm place to be. Perfect to get away from it all.
Puglia – the “spur” and “heel” of the Italian boot – is one of Europe’s great agricultural areas, its immense plains and rolling hills producing much of Italy’s wine and olive oil, vast quantities of its fruit and vegetables, and most of the hard durum wheat used to make its pasta.
Bari and Lecce are the region’s key historic cities, followed by pretty hilltop whitewashed towns such as Ostuni, the coastal villages of Gallipoli and Otranto, and the tourist centres of Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo.
All of these places are a nice easy drive from Trulo Lachelie, should you decide to do anything other than sitting by the pool, relax and read a good book.
