From the owner

A stone throw away from the picturesque Barmouth Harbour. Harbour Cottage is an ideal location for a romantic break with miles of sandy beaches and cosy inns on your doorstep. This traditional fisherman's cottage steeped in history has a lot of character. Adjacent to the famous Davy Jones's Locker and opposite Barmouth's Old Jail house. There are fantastic views of the Harbour just outside the door. Barmouth is a traditional seaside town with plenty of shops, cafe's and bars within easy walking distance. Our Harbour Cottage will suit most visitors with its contemporary furnishings. The entrance at street level leads into the lounge, with laminate flooring, TV/DVD and a small leather sofa. This room is heated by an electric (wood burning effect) fire to keep you cosy in the evenings. There is also a storage heater on the ground floor. The well equipped kitchen has shaker style fitted units with an electric hob and oven, small fridge freezer and a microwave. The narrow stairs lead: to the left a walk in wardrobe and dressing area heading into the shower room. To the right a small bedroom with a double bed. There is also a TV/DVD in the bedroom.

Parking can usually be found nearby in the large Barmouth Car Park. We can offer guests the use of our annual parking permit. (Gwynedd Terms and conditions apply).

This is an annual permit that we hand between guests. We use it ourselves to complete the change overs. If you would like to use the permit please let us know.

The £30.00 replacement charge will be levied if the permit is lost or damaged. Permit must be returned to the cottage by 10.00 am on the day of departure.

Keys and parking permit to be collected after 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and returned before 10.00 am on the day of departure. Full details will be given once bookings are confirmed.

We are very sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets in the Cottage.

Guests are requested not to smoke in the Cottage.

Parking can usually be found nearby in the large Barmouth Car Park. We can offer the use of our Gwynedd Council Parking Permit with each booking (Gwynedd council terms and conditions apply). This is an annual parking permit. If this is lost, damaged or not returned a charge of £30.00 will be passed on. Car Park Permit to be returned to the cottage by 10.00am on the departure day.

Lovely Small Harbour Cottage

Very easy to find , Excellent location , Very comfortable bed , well equipped kitchen , I went on my own but would be also ideal for 2 people .... the reviews don’t say Excellent for no reason

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send ZARINA (the owner) a message.

If ZARINA (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
