This beautiful modern duplex is a peaceful sanctuary sits atop a hill in downtown down Mazatlan and boasts breathtaking views from the bedrooms and upstairs deck; you can see from the Cathedral to the entire stretch of the ocean boulevard, to watch spectacular sunsets, fireworks or just gaze at the ocean.

There are two separate one bedroom, one bath and full kitchen units with a private garage, onsite laundry facilities, beautifully appointed spaces and everything you need to make yourself at home for your stay. This is a perfect situation for two couples traveling together to rent, or for just one person or a couple to enjoy their stay in Mazatlan.

Only a few minutes to the downtown Plazuela Machado where you can enjoy art, theater and fine dining, a stones throw from Olas Altas where you can enjoy a drink or participate in Marti gras celebrations, or two blocks from North Beach, where you can wave down an open taxi (pulmonia) or even a bus to take you to the Golden Zone, down town market or just about anywhere.

This is a great location, in a older neighborhood, with humble neighbors. But just inside the garage is a private and secure sanctuary. Only two blocks from the quainter, small less traveled Mexican market, Oxxo (convenience store), you can get groceries very inexpensively and sit on the deck to watch the sunset with a lovely meal.

The apartment was situated amongst local residents only 2 blocks from the Malecon, restaurants, market and buses. But it was disappointing as it did not live up to our expectations.

How do damage deposits work?

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Lory (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
