Come and spend your vacation in the hearth of the old town of Split just outside of Roman Diocletian Palace on the top flour of the 120 year old stone building , in our newly restored apartment ! Professionally designed in contemporary Mediterranean style it offers all modern amenities and comfort of modern living, enhanced with a luxury of panoramic open view overlooking the roofs of the old town, all the way to the ferry port and the open sea on one side, Church of the Holly Cross just across the street on the second side , and Marjan forest on the third. The apartment is situated in a very characterful and peaceful pedestrian street, 3 minutes from the main strip, close enough to the palace, restaurants, bars, „Riva“ the gorgeous Split promenade; but not too close for noise purposes. It is really quiet and peaceful so you can get a good nights sleep. Located in the center of „Veli Varos“ makes it secluded enough to be away from the bustle of the Riva yet a few minutes from it on foot – best of both worlds
Neighborhood :
In addition to the vibrant and wonderful city center, from this location it is as easy to walk to the beaches, ferries , bus and train station as it is to go city sightseeing. If you continue uphill from the apartment , you can get to the cafe near the top of the Marjan hill where there is a fantastic view of Split or if you enjoy panoramic walking or hiking you can continue through the amazing forest with many trails and steps to to the top of Marjan hill . A bit of a trek but worth the walk. , Beaches If you are looking for a relief from the heat in the city you can follow the shore line and within easy walking distance you can find beaches on both side. To the east there is a famous sand beach „Ba?vice“, where you would want to go if you enjoy serious crowds and loud music .
