Leju樂居_21 is a newly renovated three storey corner house located in an alley .This alley has a distinctive name. Local people used to call it as 'Hell Gate 鬼门关’. It was previously known as a dental clinic and it is located within the Unesco site that faces directly to the Malacca river.

Our neigbourhood is full of traditional shops and guests can have an opportunity to experience local lifestyle and to soak in the ambience of the historical town when staying here.

This house was formerly a dental clinic owned by a Shanghai old lady.We tried to preserve it as much as possible and therefore the house still has its original parts from hundreds years back like: the torn wall paints, original staircases, woods, old window structures and beams.Most of the elements in this house remained untouched, further completed with vintage furnitures, old drawers, abandoned woods and so forth for deeper retro style.This house is best suited for those travellers who appreciate its quirk and looking for some unique travel experiences.

The house has 3 floors.

-Ground floor with a living area, pantry area with a basin, microwave and tablewares,a workdesk and a newly built bathroom with a window facing the river and a garden.

-1st floor with 2 single beds, a window facing the river and a balcony .

-2nd floor (top floor) with a double queen size bed and a small window facing the river as well.

If Kiang Yung (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
