Nestled in the heart of Brittany, we welcome you to our luxurious and inviting Manoir du Poul where it is our pleasure to make you feel at home. We are honored that our charming 30-acre estate is a member of Gites de France with a rating of 4 épis. (****the WEEKLY Rate listed is for ALL 4 Bedrooms)

The interior of Le Manoir reflects classic sensibility with all modern conveniences. Four bedrooms on the second floor are gracefully decorated, thoughtfully appointed, and sleep 8 guests. In one wing, three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two single beds, share one very spacious bathroom. In our other wing on the second floor is one larger bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bath.
All attentions have been paid in the two common family rooms on the ground floor to make your stay here relaxing and peaceful. A full French country breakfast or brunch is served daily in our dining room. Rejuvenate your spirit here with a week of beauty and quiet or choose to explore the nearby villages and countryside. Soak in the serenity while strolling in our private park or hiking paths.

When you're ready to venture out, our concierge team will be at your service to help you plan your adventures. Your time in France will be like no other. Knowledgeable and hospitable, Mike and Valerie (French and English speakers) truly bring this timeless country to life for each guest through personal tours, assistance with bookings or guides, and of course delicious meals. The nearest train station and car rental is in Saint Brieuc, an hours drive. Attractions within a day-trip range are too numerous to list. Le Manoir is a convenient drive to top tourist attractions: Mont St. Michel, St. Malo, French coastlines with good sandy beaches and the Normandy region including the American Cemetary. Le Manoir is perhaps most endearing for its proximity to many quaint villages and picturesque abbeys, churches, cathedrals, museums, lakes, and streams. Mike and Valerie can advise you where best to shop for local artisan pottery and which café is best to bask in the French sunshine with a genuine cappuccino. Le Manoir is the destination for travelers who want to live their vacation, experience life as the French, slow down a bit and soak it all in.

To honor the serenity of your stay, all reservations are encouraged for a minimum of 7-days, this weekly rate includes all four bedrooms. Truly, you will feel like the master of the house. Mike and Valerie look forward to accommodating any 7-day period that works best for you.

Le Manoir is an ideal destination for your special occasion. On the estate, private five-course dinners may be arranged for 25€ per person.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mike (the owner) a message.

If Mike (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
