Boasting sweeping panoramic views across Lake Como towards the famous Bellagio peninsula, this brand new modern 6-bedroom penthouse with garden provides the perfect retreat for families, offering flexible accommodation for up to 10.

Situated on a very quiet road on the hillside, yet only a short walk down to the edge of Lake Como and Menaggio’s vibrant town centre, this serene and sophisticated penthouse is set over two levels, separated by a small internal staircase. The property benefits from double height ceilings throughout, giving a wonderful sense of space.

Five generous double bedrooms and three bathrooms are located downstairs, while the living room, bespoke designer kitchen and one further bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs. This layout provides significant privacy and quiet to the sleeping areas. Every window or balcony in the property offers black-out electric shutters to allow a restful night’s sleep.

Upon entering the luxury penthouse, the open plan Living and Kitchen area sets the scene for year-round relaxation and entertaining. A whitewashed beamed ceiling and serene interior palette of cream and warm muted greys offer a contemporary, tranquil ambience in which to unwind on the comfortable sofa and armchairs. Free WiFi and a wall-mounted flat screen SAT TV provide added home-from-home comfort. Leading directly outside, the open plan reception provides a carefree summertime flow for easy-going alfresco barbeques, as well as laid-back moments spent sunbathing with an ice-cold drink and a good holiday novel.

The bespoke gourmet Scavolini Kitchen showcases beautiful quartz worktops as well as top-of-the-range Siemens appliances and all of your kitchen essentials. All tableware, glassware and cookware is provided to cater to your every need, while still leaving ample storage space. Look forward to enjoying your aromatic morning coffee, delicious homemade meals and fabulous dinner parties; perhaps with the added wow-factor of a private chef experience! Complementing the Kitchen is a large extendable dining table for up to 10 which offers breath-taking views across the lake. A wonderful and generously sized balcony is situated just off the living area, facing the lake.

Waking up in the scenic lake view Master bedroom as the early sunlight sparkles and illuminates the blue mountain water is the perfect way to start your Lake Como morning. The Master bedroom boasts a super-king sized bed, flat screen TV and En-suite shower room. A second lake view Twin bedroom offers flexibility, with two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed upon request, while a third lake view bedroom is furnished with a double bed provides a restful, couple-friendly haven.

Three further garden/ mountain view bedrooms can be found to the rear of the property. A Twin bedroom (with two single beds that can also be joined to form a double bed), and another double bedroom off the living room complete the welcoming layout of the sleeping accommodation.

Leading off from the stylish open plan living area is a modern shower room with WC. The penthouse is equipped with 3 further high quality bathroom suites (Master en-suite shower room with WC & bidet, a family shower room with WC and a full family bathroom suite with WC). The sleek wash room facilities perfectly reflect and enhances the modernity of the 6 tastefully presented bedrooms.

The modern family-friendly layout is further complemented by generous closet space throughout, private laundry facilities, underfloor heating and private covered parking for two large cars.

Outside, the south facing terrace sets the scene for summertime with three full size rattan sun loungers, a stylish alfresco dining set for up to 10, a large canopy umbrella and a charcoal barbecue. At the other end of the property, a sun-drenched lawn offers further space for the kids to run around and play, as well as four more sun loungers. The timeless lake view vista towards beautiful Bellagio provides a truly unique and memorable backdrop to your Lake Como stay.

We apologize for the slow response during your stay during the busy summer period. We pride ourselves on reverting quickly to guests’ needs during their stay and we regret that we did not meet our usual standards in this instance. We were obviously very concerned when we read that you had contracted an ailment and so we endeavored to investigate and research further. We discussed this extensively with the condo management (Holiday Property Solutions only manages the Paradiso penthouse apartment - we do not manage the condo as a whole, nor the common areas such as the pool). Condo management confirmed that the pool is cleaned, tested and treated by a pool specialist on a weekly basis, in line with all applicable standards, and so are very surprised by your feedback. Accordingly we need to strongly refute your assertion that the pool is improperly maintained. We would note that, from our research, this kind of bacteria is more prevalent in hot tubs or pools that are kept at a high temperature - which is not the case for this pool. Having said this - even with all the correct pool treatment - it is not possible to 100% rule out an occurrence of an issue such as this. However, in just the same way it is also possible that your ailment could have been contracted before your arrival given you experienced it quite early in your holiday (we understand that this particular ailment can have an incubation period of several days before symptoms). Finally we would just note that no other guest or resident of the condo has, to our knowledge, experienced this issue in the three years that the condo has been in operation. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the use of the pool and note that your would otherwise rate the condo as 4 stars but for this. As regards the rental car bottoming out on the access road - we would like to point out that we provided you with written directions (with photographs) which advises the best route to drive to the property, i.e. avoiding the (unpaved) road that you used. The latter is best not used by car to access the property (although it is the most convenient way to make the short walk into the village). Finally - we regret that you were surprised by the stairs in the property - as we have endeavored to make this very clear on the various rental sites we use. However, the effort required to ascend stairs provides the obvious benefit of elevation, giving even more jaw dropping views out over beautiful Lake Como, which we are pleased to read that you enjoyed! It was a pleasure having you all here to stay. Please note your feed back has been passed onto our loca office for further review." WE WOULD LIKE TO UPDATE: Upon this complaint, the condo management immediately ordered a test and found the pool to be up to the required stringent standards. The pool is treated weekly with the appropriate chemicals as well as cleaned- as this is what the condo owners required when the service was set up.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
