From the owner

Spileo House is a very new three storey building with amazing apartments on the first floor. Each apartment has its own private balcony overlooking not only the private pool but also the amazing lush green countryside and the clear waters of the Ionion Sea. With only a five minute drive between Spileo House and the nearest beach, our hillside location spells tranquility, relaxation and privacy all the way.

The apartments are both spacious and luxurious with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area. The double bedroom has its own balcony overlooking the pool. Other comforts include air conditioning, satellite TV and protective netting over balcony doors and windows. The complex has a 15m x 6m pool, sun terrace and communal BBQ area. Private off road parking is available for guests to the rear of the building and the gated property offers not only complete privacy but also security to our guests.

Though found in a beautifully secluded location, Spileo House is by no means isolated. A number of amazing restaurants are to be found within walking distance of the property not to mention the very popular tourist resorts of Messonghi and Moraitika which are both a very short drive from our location. Sandy beaches and all the facilities and amenities one might require are provided there. Finally, Spileo village is part of an established 2 hour circular walk which takes you through olive groves, a traditional village with its church while offering amazing views of Moraitika and the mountain of Aghios Matheos.

Though strictly prohibited within the actual accommodation, naturally smoking is allowed on one's private balcony or by the pool and in the BBQ area. Additionally guests are kindly requested to respect and maintain the peace and quiet afforded by the very peaceful, secluded location. Guests are asked not to make excessive noise, play very loud music or bang doors after 11.30 pm.

Why can't I call Jayne (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jayne (the owner) a message.

If Jayne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
