Casa de Chiles (check our web page with the same name), our 70 m2 apartment, is located on the first floor in a quiet building. Bedrooms on the side of internal court guarantee silence in this busy quarter.

One big bedroom with stylish Mexican bed, a queen size mattress and one smaller bedroom with a sofa-bed. Feather pillows guarantee comfortable sleep.

Big dining room with a table for 6 people.

Fully furnished kitchen: induction plate and oven, microwave, water kettle, coffee machine, toaster and fridge with cold water dispenser.

A comfy sofa in the salon, with two chairs Acapulco. A sound bar to play your favorite music from your portable device (Bluetooth connection). If you are cold, fire the infra-red fireplace!

Flora certainly won the title of the worst guest of the year. Firstly, she tried to sneak the third person for the reservation of two people (saving 10 USD/night on her own son); then she refused to upgrade the reservation. I was on my way to cancel the reservation directly with Tripadvisor; which I should do without any scruples; but moved by polite request of Tripadvisor and begging of Flora not to cancel I decided to maintain it (last error of 2017!). The first message which woke me up was a sms: “Looks like no breakfast for us today”. In my listing it is clearly stated that there is no breakfast provided! I guess she expected a maid serving it to bed, for the total price of 59 USD/night for 2 people. Then rude requests started: “Send me somebody immediately, because I want 42°C water under the shower and 37°C is not sufficient”. “Oven is broken, send me somebody immediately, before 7 AM to fix it”. Clearly the lady didn’t get the idea of being a guest in somebody else’s home, and that it is not a hotel; and that some things easily can be done by the guest. Despite of a clear explanation how to activate the electricity supply for the oven marked as HORNO (central switch as a precaution due to the frequent seismic activity in the zone); Flora was continuously refusing to switch it on, saying that it is not such a switch on the wall, waiting for somebody to come and switch it on for her. She started then to blackmail us that she will only write a god evaluation if somebody will immediately come and switch on the oven, because she has to cook for her husband. It was a weekend of 31 of December, and we were outside of the town; as well as the half of the family. Instead of profiting of fabulous food of Mexico City and great breakfasts in the coffee shop 10 m away, Flora preferred shoot pile of messages every day, requesting immediate attention for a thing which can and is expected to be done by a guest. The moment we received a message that Flora left was the best news of the first day of the New Year. Next time we will trust our guts and cancel people who try to cheat and sneak other people without paying for them.

And they have wifi for free there, so you can show off to your friends putting Runtastic data on the Facebook later ;-) What a change since you went last time, right? We love to bike along Refirma on Sundays, you really feel that you dominate the city. Come back anytime you want to b exposed to tacos, tequila and vibrant atmosphere!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Justyna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
