From the owner

For our guests we offer typical Nomad tents made from traditional materials like bamboo, wool blankets and Moroccan carpets. You will sleep on comfortable mattress. We understand the requirements of foreigners and provide ample blankets, bed sheets, food so you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Our maximum capacity is 30 persons. We can accommodate up to 4 persons in one tent. If you are solo traveler you will sleep in your tent alone. You will not sleep together with other guests.

Our campsite is located in the Moroccan Sahara desert, 20 km South from Tagounite towards M'hamid. Follow the road N9 towards M'hamid. After 18 km turn west - to the right on the dirty sandy road, it will bring you here. It takes 30 min by car from Tagounit.

To Tagounite you can arrive by bus from the biggest cities. The busses run daily. The bus company CTM departures from Marrakesh at 11:15 and 03:34 am. Calculate around 8 hours trip.

There are no restaurants or shops nearby. However meals are included in the cost of the accommodation. In the large common tent we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. All our dishes are typically Moroccan, all freshly prepared from local products.

There is phone reception in our camp but not internet or WiFi. This is an authentic experience living among the Nomad people. There are basic facilities to take Berber shower and turkish toilet

The dunes are next to the camp, you can practice sand-boarding there or see an unforgettable sunset and sunrise. The nights might be spent chatting around the fire, drinking tea, stargazing, singing and drumming under a full moon traditional Berber music.

This can be a great experience and opportunity to learn about different ways of living or simply recharge your batteries and connect with nature.

The best way to enjoy Sahara desert is to take a camel ride tour and sleep at least one night in desert. We offer also various guided tours depending on your own wishes and travel-budget.

You may enjoy a camel ride of few hours or camel trekking tour to Erg Chegaga stunning sand dunes, 4x4 tour in desert or relaxing camel ride in Sahara desert and camping under stars etc.

Staying with us requires an open mind and a sense of adventure but it will probably be the most unique and magical experience of your time in Morocco.
