The cottage is located on beautiful Stone lake in Middlebury, IN lot 146.

The fully stocked cottage can accommodate up to 8 adults and up to 4 children.

Dinning room and the kitchen provide a panoramic lake view .

Master bedroom,(Queen bed and twin size bed) with attached bath.

Carriage room includes a full bathroom, (Double size bed) and walk out to the lake.

Kitchen, kitchenette, Dinning room, Family room, including a FIREPLACE.

Patio with sliding glass door facing the lake.

Parking for up to 6 cars.

Flat screen Smart tv that you can log into many of the popular streaming services using your account # and DVD player, no cable tv.

High Speed internet “WIFI”.

WHATS INCLUDED IN THE COTTAGE:

The cottage is fully furnished.

Washer and dryer, cookware and silverware included

Major kitchen appliances, including a stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, toaster oven, blender, and misc containers, cooking utensils, place settings, kitchen cleaner's, Keurig, etc.

Books, board games, DVD's, etc.

The cottage is on well water but I have installed a kitchen sink filter, 4 shower filters and a water softener.

Outdoor charcoal grill, grilling tools, lake side fire pit, table and chairs.

Vacuum, cleaning supplies.

Two Adult / Kid Kayaks ( April to Sept)

Pier on the lake around ~50 foot long. ( April to Sept )

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

Bed sheets, towels, laundry soap, and any other personal items. 2 Queen beds, 2 double bed, and a twin bed. You may also want to bring some paper products like, Kleenex, coffee filters, paper plates, Keurig pods, etc.

THINGS TO DO AND SEE:

Gradual and shallow sandy swimming area.

Stone Lake and the smaller connected Brokesha Lake are great fishing lakes.

Stone lake is a max of 30 feet deep and has a public boat ramp / launch on the West side.

Boating is speed restricted to 10 – 15 MPH, which helps to provide a quiet, and relaxing get-away.

The town of Middlebury offers shopping, microbrewery, the famous Das Dutchmen Essenhause restaurant, golfing, site seeing, local attractions.

The town of SHIPSHEWANA flee markets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Amish restaurants, crafts, shopping, animal petting zoo, Blue Gate Theater, auctions flea markets, and much more.

THINGS YOU CAN'T BRING OR DO:

CHECK IN 3 pm, INFORMATION:

The front door lock is electronic. After your security deposit is received, a code will be provided for the lock and will be changed after your departure. We also have a video doorbell for security.

If you need to use the extra detached bedroom/Full (Casita) bath during the off season (Oct-April) please let me know before your arrival.

2 day min stay during the off season.

7 day min stay during the summer, Friday to Friday.

The minimum age for the primary guest/s must be 21.

STAY INFO:

The WIFI password is on the freezer Door

The Key to the extra bedroom is on the side cabinet in the kitchen.

When using the A/C please keep the windows and doors closed.

CHECK OUT INFORMATION:

Please leave the cottage in as clean of condition as you found it, which includes cleaning the kitchen, putting away all outside items, closing all windows, doors, and putting all trash bags in the outside dumpster.

The security deposit will be refunded after you leave, so long as there are no damages or extraordinary cleaning needed.

Check out is at Noon.

There is a one-week minimum rental during the peak season, which is from May to August. Two day min during the off season.

SECURITY DEPOSIT & PAYMENT:

A one hundred ($150) security deposit, (personal check accepted), is due when you reserve the cottage, and must be mailed and received before the date will be booked and reserved.

Why can't I call Aaron (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Aaron (the owner) a message.

If Aaron (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
