The open plan living room is extremely spacious and airy with comfortable modern furnishings and an attractive open fireplace. Upon entering the living room there is a large arched window which affords the room a stunning back drop towards the coastline views and makes the room extremely light. There is a large 8 x 4 metre private pool with large terrace area with sunbeds and a outside seating area a lemon grove. The views again from the pool are far reaching towards sea.
Around the villa there are additional outside tables to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the location.
Mijas is a beautiful traditional village which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 metres above sea level and is located within an easy drive from Malaga airport which is very accessible all year round with numerous daily international flights.
Due to it's mountainside location there are steps located off of the living room leading down to the four bedrooms located on the ground floor and additional steps leading from the side terrace down to the pool area. The villa is not recommended for persons with limited mobility due to the various steps within and outside the villa.
The village is a mix of narrow cobbled streets with several village squares and offers an array of local shops selling a huge variety of items from local pottery, paintings to local produce such as cheeses, hams and delicious handmade ice cream.
There is a plethora of bars and restaurants to choose from within the village from local tapas bars where you can pass the time of day with the locals to a huge variety of cuisine from outdoor BBQ restaurants to others offering freshly caught seafood, superb steaks and simple menu del dia (menu of the day).
Mijas Pueblo has managed to retain much of its traditional Andalucían way of life with about 70% of it's residents being Spanish and benefits from an excellent all year round climate and is the perfect location to visit other popular spots such as Granada, Gibraltar and even ski in the winter in Sierra Nevada.
