In the Winter - The Lake is spectacular!. As the lake freezes over, skating or ice fishing is a wonderful way to spend your day. For snowy days, there is a sledding hill a very short drive away. Walks on the frozen lake are an adventure. Skiing and tubing at Shawnee Mountain are just a short drive away.

In the Autumn - The beautiful colors of fall are reflected in the lake. Go canoeing or kayaing on the lake, the days are still sunny and warm. The nights are wonderfully crisp, and you can use the firepit outdoors for a wonderful evening under the stars. From November on you can cozy up indoors in front of a stunning gas fireplace, and end your evening resting on the flannel sheets in each bedroom.

Spring/Summer - Stunning 180 degree unobstructed views of the lake on an oversized, private lot. Easy, gentle access to the huge 122 acre natural lake with your own dock. Level lawn right to the lake, with 300 feet of lake frontage. Use of 2 canoes, kayak, sailboat, and a rowboat. Total privacy, no direct neighbors. Beach with lifeguards,(open in summer only) huge water trampoline, recreation center, playground and restaurant just a 2 minute walk away. Tennis courts, basketball and ballfield just a 5 minute walk.

Downstairs - Enjoy the Living Room with sofas for relaxing, and the Summer Kitchen which is just off of the huge enclosed sunroom overlooking the lake. There is also a full bath on this level, and the kids room with a twin bunk bed. Enjoy a book in the den with twin that pulls out to king bed, or get ready for the night in the guest room, with two twin beds. For your convenience there is also a full sized washer and dryer.

Upstairs - Enjoy sweeping views of the lake from the wraparound deck, or cook out on the gas grill. Have a morning cup of coffee in the upstairs sunroom, or just settle in to read a great book. The great room awaits you, perfect for your cozy evenings at home. The kitchen with all new appliances and dining area are on this level, and another full bathroom with tub. Rest for the night in the master bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet. Lounge in the great room, with expansive lake views for a perfect gathering spot on cool summer nights. Invite your friends over for a barbecue and gaze at the night stars. Kids can play and have fun with our collection of books or board games, or complete a puzzle.

Why can't I call Jennifer (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jennifer (the owner) a message.

If Jennifer (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
