Blue Shore is situated in Valley Resort Millendreath and is a 2 minute stroll to the beach, with wonderful views to the sea and countryside. Blue Shore is a privately owned villa and a main feature is the huge terrace for sitting out, relaxing and soaking up the sun. Our villa is perfectly suited to a seaside family holiday, for couples or friends, who enjoy just relaxing, hiking the coastal path or visiting the multitude of Cornish attractions including The Eden Project, a 40 minute drive, or Looe Island.

There are 40 steps up to the villa so please bear this in mind before booking.

The villa has been furnished in a contemporary style with hints of the seaside with a bright fresh feel. The living room comfortably seats 4 adults and there is plenty of space to fit a 5th small person. There is a large TV for the evenings with freesat and free wifi. There is a dining table and 5 chairs for eating in, and plenty of cupboard storage. Patio doors open from the Living/diner onto the terrace.

The double bedroom has views out to sea and the smaller bedroom is furnished with bunk-beds and, for an extra child, a pull out trundle bed.

The kitchen has everything you will need for a holiday with a washer dryer, fridge and freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and all the pots and pans you will need. The bathroom is modern and has a bath with a shower over.

We supply mattress and pillow protectors, tea towels, a bath mat and oven glove, and bedlinen can be hired for a small extra charge. Electricity is through a card payment meter and at least £10 of electricity is provided free of charge on your arrival. Electricity cards from £5 can be purchased from us and on site. (cash and card payment available).

The villa has electric heating in every room and double glazing for colder weather.

You have 30 minutes on the top road to unload at the beginning of your stay and load at the end. You will then need to park in the main large car park, which is situated close by and purchase a weekly parking ticket at a cost of £20. This charge will be reimbursed to you.

There has been a beach side cafe and a bar, which are open at this time (27.6.2022). Both of these are provided by Valley Resorts who manage the site. Please check with both for their current opening times and conditions.

There is a swimming pool, leisure complex and entertainment at the caravan park at the top of the road to Millendreath, a 5 minute drive away, which can be used for a fee. Please ask at the site for more details.

We are provide leaflets and maps and are happy to advise on other specialist activities such as cycling. There is a coastal path which begins about 100 metres from the property and leads to Looe to the west - a 20-25 minute walk and, if your feeling more adventurous, Seaton to the East a 1 1/4 hour walk, where there is a pub and a cafe. Looe has many good cafes, fish and seafood restaurants and pubs, and offers boat trips from the quay. It has a number of clothes, craft shops and supermarkets, a train station, bus services and a taxi service. Liskeard is a 25 minute drive away where a range of other shops and eateries can be found.

Sorry we do not accept dogs or smoking on the premises. Please also bear in mind that outside storage is limited.

We take a £60 damage deposit which will be refunded by Holiday Lettings after satisfactory inspection of the property and return of the key after your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gill (the owner) a message.

If Gill (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
