Here's the spot of your dreams ! Come and enjoy our cosy and romantic holiday cottage “La Taupinière du Gers” with its rustic charm, in the midst of fields, forests and the rolling hills of Gascony !

Cottage description :

La Taupinière (in English : The Molehill) is a very cosy, fully equipped little cottage, completely dressed with wood, nested in a beautiful garden with large pond.

You will reach the cottage by private stairs, that are leading you to the large covered terrace, where you will rest and have your meals, most of the time. From there, through the double glass door, you get inside your lovely nest. The "American" kitchen has anything you might need (ceramic hob, real oven, toaster, micro-wave, dish washer, ...) and opens on the lounge with its lunch-corner and its international library. The bathroom has a corner bath tub and separated toilets. There is a small laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, etc ...

The sleeping room with a double bed takes place on the mezzanine, where you will also find a flat screen with DVD player and a range of hundred films any kind, and very large wall cupboards.

The second room is designed in the shape of a pretty Eastern house made of wood, is a free-standing structure, and is located just opposite the terrace of the cottage. This house does not have any other equipment than twin beds, heater, ceiling fan, shelves and a mini stereo. Its occupants will benefit from the equipment of the main gite. Kids are usually very proud to have their own little house ;-)

The 12m2 terrace of the main cottage, made of wood and roofed, is equipped with a table and 4 chairs in acacia, is illuminated at night, and is overlooking the beautiful one hectare garden and its vast pond, abounding with lotus, water lilies, frogs, water hens and other dragonflies…

By good weather, and if the atmosphere is very clear, perhaps will you have the pleasant surprise to discover in the backdrop the very majestic Pyrenees with their snow-covered tops… 

If you prefer so, you can leave us the charge of the end of stay cleaning, for the price of 40€, to be paid cash on the spot. .

As we are living at the back of "La Taupinière", we will welcome you there. Once you're settled in your lovely nest, you won't hear of us if you prefer so, but we still will be available in case you would need anything, or just for a chat. A part of the garden is especially dedicated to you, but you can of course enjoy our superb pond and the rest of the ground too, where you may come across us and our pets. We love animals and will welcome your good doggie for free. An extra charge of 20 euros per week is required for 2 pets, and 50 euros per week for a maximum of 3 pets, to be paid on the spot in cash. We rely on your common sense to ensure harmony between our different companions as well as cleanliness both in house and garden.

    How do damage deposits work?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Roxane (the owner) a message.

    If Roxane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
