Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax or for outdoor adventures, Unwind and Reel ‘Em Inn is the place for you. This beautiful, newly renovated, lakefront home has five bedrooms and three full baths, a large family room with a stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings and large windows for viewing Smith Mountain Lake. You will also find a large kitchen with a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave and other amenities to make you feel right at home. The home also has a large recreation room complete with a pool table, board games and a PS4 for your entertainment. The house has a large deck that spans the entire back of the house and provides breathtaking views of Smith Mountain Lake. A gas grill and charcoal grill are also provided for your enjoyment. A lighted walkway provides easy access to the private dock. Enjoy swimming, water sports or fishing in the beautiful water of Smith Mountain Lake. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which is perfect for biking and walking.

The house comes fully equipped with everything you need, including bed linens, towels and some paper products, to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful and memorable vacation. There’s so much to do while staying at Unwind and Reel ‘Em Inn, you can relax on the large deck, enjoy the lake from our private dock, swim or play in the lake, nap in the two person hammock, play a friendly game of pool, or enjoy s’mores and conversation around the fire pit.

There are plenty of local attractions to keep you entertained when you go out for the day. The house is conveniently located near a general store and a grocery store for your household needs as well as several great restaurants. We are located just 15 minutes from Bridgewater Plaza where you will find many unique dining experiences as well as miniature golf, watercraft rentals and a marina. Or visit one of our local vineyards or breweries. Spend the day hiking along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.

Lovely 5 BR home with plenty of amenities and charm. Great views of the lake. Nice dock. Convenient location. It does have just shy of 100 steps down to the water, so you will get a workout!

Why can't I call Laura (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Laura (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Laura (the owner) a message.

If Laura (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
