This lovely chalet is truly spacious with accommodation over 2 levels. Our aim is to give families anf friends the freedom they want on their holiday and the space to do so - if 2 or 3 familiesor groups are sharing, space is surely needed!

Enjoy shared stories of the day in the open plan living areas or chill out and play games or read in the mezzainane area. There is a play station 2 for further entertainment with games and a large supply of DVD's. English and French TV is available in the living room and main bedroom.

For those people who need to maintain contact with the "other" world and update friends at home on their days progress - wifi comes supplied.

The real fire is the centre point of the chalet with underfloor heating in the living areas ensuring toasty feet!

The balconies and HUGE terrace entice you to watch the ever changing weather conditions and altering scenery of the valley below. Relax and unwind in the hot tub on the terrace - please request when booking.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Chalet Jaune, thank you very much for your kind feedback. We have realised that the hot water has a limited capacity and are planning on upgrading it to a larger capacity electric hot water system next summer, so should you visit again there will be an abundance of hot water. Also the dishwasher is being replaced at the end of January when I am back out in Montorlin as we had also noticed a decrease in performance.

Why can't I call Iain (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Iain (the owner) a message.

If Iain (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
