The first core of the house “Le Grotte” dates back to 1700 and later a wing consisting of two large rooms was added. The house is leaning to a rock - hence the name! - which is one of the load-bearing walls of the house itself.
The house has six rooms. On the ground floor there is the entrance from which on the left you enter the large well equipped kitchen with a big dining table, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and electric oven. On the right of the entrance there is the lounge with a wood stove, then a toilet with washbasin and WC. Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms, a study lounge and a bathroom with sink, shower and bidet. A fireplace, a wood stove and an extra electric heater for the bathroom heat the whole house. Outside there is a traditional wood oven and a barbecue. Around the house, the country garden is rich in colours of blooming plants throughout the year: blue and white irises in spring, beautiful roses from May to June until autumn, thousands kinds of wildflowers attract beautiful butterflies. Also at your disposal the fruits of the trees planted around the house. There are wide sunny and shady areas for outdoors relax and leisure in total privacy.
