From the owner

We are situated in a small hamlet with a mixture of farms and houses, we are surrounded by open fields and country lanes which can be explored by foot or cycle. Whilst offering a rural, tranquil & relaxing setting we are only 800 meters from a main road, leading to many of the major attractions that this part of the Loire has to offer, thus making it a perfect location for exploring this truly beautiful part of France.

The farmhouse provides a very spacious & fully equipped self contained accommodation for 5 persons + a baby and has been furnished throughout to a very high standard with a blend of modern and old furniture, with many of the original features, such as beamed ceilings, remains of a grain press and exposed stone walls from the "Tofu" stone of the region. All the equipment and home comforts are in place for guests to have that perfect well deserved holiday. The accommodation has it's own private terrace with a covered area which is perfect for outside dining or simply relaxing and enjoying the lovely countryside and peaceful surroundings. There is a large "play garden" with swings, table tennis, slide, badmington, connect 4 and swingball to keep our younger guests amused and an overground 1.2mtrs x 5mtrs splash pool to cool off in during our lovely hot summers. There is an assortment of bicycles both adults & children which our guests are welcome to use during their stay.

We have a large vegetable garden where guests can pick their own depending on the season and our chickens are happy to provide you with eggs in exchange for some scraps. The chickens are always very popular amongst our longer guests.

Why can't I call Julie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julie (the owner) a message.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
