Located on the historical main street of the picturesque village of Pontlevoy, adjacent to the abbey (50 mtrs) and within a stone's throw of the local bakery, 3restaurants and 3 pubs, Amelia was once part of the Abbey grounds and the courtyard is similarly paved with the famous “stone of Pontlevoy”.

The cottage is full of character and boasts original architectural details, beautifully patina walls, tiled floors (famous beginning of century “tommettes” and 1000 years old stones of Pontlevoy in the house), brand new kitchen, confortable Italian shower, stone, beamed ceilings. In Pontlevoy, there are three great restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the cottage, 4 pubs, 1 pharmacy, 1 supermarket, 1 bank, 2 doctors, 1 dentist, plumbers, electricians, organic farm, 2 vineyards, 2 schools….

Total surface : 90 M2 composed of a main living room 30 M2, 1 kitchen + dining room overlloking the courtyard (30M2) and 1 master bedroom on the first floor + 1 bathrooms. This property falls into a very different range of unique and unsual houses. It is the property of an artist and some of her artwork is the walls.

. In house we have an additional inflatable bed and covers (upon request) and up to 5 people can stay in the cottage.
. For an additional 45 euros, a fresh bottle of Champagne will be waiting for you with fruits upon arrival.
. In pontlevoy in matters of minutes, you can take spectacular walks, go jogging, or just walk amongst abbey grounds before a loccal “apéritif” at le commerce.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alban (the owner) a message.

If Alban (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
