Eric is a cool host who knows the island very well. He helped us out with everything from scooter rentals (you definitely need a scooter to get around) to guided tours, and his house is ideally located between Rawai and Kata. Both Nai Harn and Kata noi beaches are within a 5-10 min drive from the house and neither are overcrowded like Patong and Kata. The house is comfortable, big and spacious and Eric is an accommodating guy who knows how to have a good time!

It's hard to beat this place if you want to stay in Phuket. I stayed in the big suite which was big, had a nice & clean bathroom and a great view of the water. It's a little far from the main road but that's no big deal if you rent a scooter (which I highly recommend). Erik is a great host who goes way above and beyond to make sure you have a good stay. He hooked me up with a Scooter rental (he took me to his local contact and she gave me a great deal). He also recommended a great dive shop that took me out for a day of scuba diving. If you've got a scooter then you've got quick access to multiple beaches, dive shops, restaurants and bars (I really recommend the fresh seafood places at the southern tip of the island). Erik knows the area and he's friends with a lot of the locals so you can trust his recommendations.

erik is a typical aussie host.Nothing is a hassle for him from getting your scooter/car to airport pickups and his house is very nice beautiful views and very warming .Anyone travelling to phuket should contact eric for availability as you wont be disappointed cheers mate!!

Eric and a friend met us at the flat at an agreed upon time. The room was as described and has a balcony just out side the door - both room and balcony has a view of the sea. We had motorcycles - the location calls for at least scooters - it is a bit secluded. I would recommend this location for older couples or single guys instead of young gals. The area is quiet - you are a five minute scooter drive to the main road. The beaches and the bar/restaurant area are between a 5-15minute ride away, depending on where you are heading. Eric was helpful and even offered to drive us to the airport.

Everyone is different... and likes to note things from their point of view, sure, but facts disagree... most the bookings and the ones that have enjoyed here the most has in fact been "young Gals" why? well, I believe it is the security I offer... and if you read my lengthy profile you can see that... like the young girl who upon thinking it would be a cultural fun experience to catch the local transport, and getting robbed in broad daylight.... got on the case and had her here delivered in a Patrol car with 3 Police within 3 hours... then helped her out with cash until her dad cood send her more.... so there you go. Not a nice feeling to be stranded in a forein county... The another young single traveler girl, I helped her learn to ride a scooter, she would not get off it after that... she loved it.. look at the pics.... the local girls and I took her out to free food parties... they took her to the market and she was in the house eating chicken feet within 2 days... (not as bad as the young US girl eating bugs from the north... still got to find that pic, and she was pole dancing upside down to the amazement of the local bar girls ha ha) so... no, this is a place for everyone.... Especially those who are wary...... All the best to all...
